**About the role**
This role is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and overseeing the initiatives of the Regional Freight Forwarding Operations, while driving key strategic goals and operational excellence. The position includes leadership and development responsibilities for Managers and Directors across the region, ensuring delivery of significant P&L contributions through cost control and service level improvements.
Success in this role requires strong analytical and communication skills, along with hands-on experience in freight forwarding operations within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

**How You Will Contribute**
- Manage file creation and all services associated with freight forwarding and logistics.
- Support account start-up by coordinating with Sales to ensure all required documentation and SOP inputs are provided.
- Monitor and audit files weekly to ensure compliance with estimate inputs, profit margin settings, and timely invoicing.
- Assist clients with day-to-day requests related to export/import documentation to ensure accurate execution of transportation files.
- Provide clients with complete flight/sailing details to maintain smooth information flow.
- Liaise with airlines and ocean carriers to secure optimal solutions in terms of capacity and cost.
- Collaborate with DP World’s internal network and external partner agents to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Respond promptly to any emergency situations that may arise during the lifecycle of air or ocean shipments.Coordinate with fellow Operations colleagues to provide support during periods of high workload.

**What You Will Bring**
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in freight forwarding operations.
- Solid understanding of the freight forwarding industry and logistics processes.
- Strong execution skills with the ability to drive initiatives and ensure accurate and timely delivery.
- Agile mindset with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to interpret numerical data.
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to engage with clients, carriers, vendors, and partners.
