Software Engineer for Industrial Process

You will be attached to Global R&D Software Factory, in a multi-cultural cluster composed by 30 engineers and 30 consultants, organized in four teams, working on development and deploying process solutions for ArcelorMittal.
In short term, you will take in charge R&D projects as technical leader, propose new ideas, maintain our industrial process solutions to generate new solutions in our plants. Business travels will allow you to work with partners in a worldwide perimeter and to experience different working cultures.

**Your role**

You will be in charge of developing & deploying solutions to master the processes to produce new metallic coatings and steels for automotive and industry with a focus on Rolling and Continuous Annealing processes:

- To adapt processes to the new steel products compatible with current environmental regulations (mitigation of CO2 emissions & adaptation of existing process routes)
- To participate actively in the digital transformation of ArcelorMittal
- To improve the productivity & reliability of ArcelorMittal production lines.

You will also be involved in following activities:

- To design and develop a new framework that will serve as a host structure for all our solutions for piloting a galvanizing, tinning or acid bath line
- To support new solutions development.

**Your profile**
- You hold a Master's degree related to the field of Software Engineering or Numerical Modelling.
- You have knowledge in software architecture (.net, C#, microservices).
- You have knowledge in Operational Technology, PLC, systems for monitoring and controlling.
- You have good Programming skills and you are willing to deepen in Machine Learning.
- You have experience with scientific languages (Fortran, Matlab, Python).
- You are advanced in French and in English.
- You are innovative, curious and results oriented.
- You have excellent social skills to work in project teams within a multi-cultural environment.
- You are able to travel worldwide.
