Our client, a leading company in its sector, is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager (M/F/d) to join their team in Koblenz and take on a key role in managing and developing their accounting department.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Lead and develop a team of 9 employees, ensuring the timely and accurate execution of ongoing accounting tasks.
- Take responsibility for projects and sub-projects in the field of general accounting, including the integration of newly acquired companies.
- Act as the main point of contact for external stakeholders, such as auditors and the tax department, especially during audits.
- Actively participate in the preparation of monthly and annual financial closings in accordance with local standards and IFRS, as well as in general ledger reconciliations to ensure correct business transaction records.
- Ensure timely submission of all required local filings, such as VAT returns and statistical reports.

**Your Profile**:

- Several years of experience in accounting, ideally with some experience in team management.
- Completed education in accounting or a related field (e.g., business administration, finance & controlling, or banking).
- Excellent command of English; additional languages are a plus.
- Professionalism, strong teamwork abilities, and flexibility.
