**YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

As a Engagement Manager, you will act as a trusted internal and external pricing expert working closely with clients management to deliver complex and challenging pricing projects. You will have a strong analytical mindset and be the go-to person for the problem solving and the day-to-day management of the engagement team.

Each client is unique and requires a personal and collaborative approach - reflective of our company values of how we work. As such, we are looking for someone who can think out-of-the-box and take a pro-active approach to develop alternative solutions that practically overcome project challenges.

As a learning organisation, we actively encourage you to develop your pricing specialisms and disseminate your experience throughout the team, and so a key element to this role is coaching the junior members of the team in the development of their pricing and consulting skills.

Part of your role will be also to support company leaders in identifying and developing sales opportunities with existing clients, as well as assisting with proposal development for prospective clients. You will be expected to build and maintain successful professional relationships with our clients.

You will play an active role in growing Pearson Ham Group by supporting recruitment, training and cultural development activities.

**EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS**
- 5-8 years' relevant experience in other consulting firms or within industry, with preference for management consulting or pricing roles
- Core process skills including:

- Meeting and workshop development and management, deck writing, storyboarding, logical and structured reasoning, client interviewing, problem solving, data analysis, process design and change management
- Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills
- Experience in data science or modelling role desired
- Track record of being part and leading successful project delivery teams; excellent organisational and time management skills; attention to detail
- Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and to manage all the day-by-day aspects of a project with a team of 2 to 5 people
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Interest in mentoring others and helping colleagues' development
- Desire to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment and contributing to a rapidly growing company
- Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel; SQL, statistical packages, R and Tableau an advantage
- Strong business English and French or German (written and spoken). Other languages will also be valuable.
- Available to travel about 20% of the time
