This position will be based in our Paris office with a hybrid schedule that has the option of working two days remotely each week.

Team Overview:
Financial Lines plays an important part of Everest expansion in France, as a key portfolio for our growth ambition.

Our Head of Financial Lines sitting in the French Executive Committee, reports directly to the Branch Manager. He/She is managing underwriters, developing the team as the business grows.

He/She has a doted reporting line to the Head of FL Europe or International.

Role Purpose:
- We plan to grow significantly our FL book across all lines including Cyber in France and Monaco.- Managing a team of Underwriters, our Head of Financial Lines is responsible for the growth agenda as well as the profilitability of the line of business. Connected with the local brokers, he/she will provide our corporate clients with Management liability, PI, FI and Cyber solutions.- He/She writes the FL business, makes Underwriting decisions within his/her delegated authorities, respecting the guidelines

Key Accountabilities:
- Working within the authority granted, writing a profitable book of Financial Lines business per the EIID Underwriting guidelines- Expand and maintain existing broker relationships and other sources of distribution, and developing new relationships, where this is consistent with the objectives set in the Business Plan- Expanding the current product range to allow Everest to compete with the market leaders in the sector- Quoting and Leading the placements of Property clients, and effectively managing any specific MGA clients- To refer as appropriate risks exceeding prescribed underwriting authority- Develop business through execution of new ideas in addition to utilising all the available Everest resources to grow, develop and maintain a profitable book of Property business- Procuring business from french market brokers, both existing and those whom EIID does not currently trade- To liaise with the Claims Manager on claims related issues and participate in account and management reviews- To participate in the underwriting peer review process at the weekly and monthly underwriting meetings, as required- To assist with the completion and review of strategic and underwriting guidelines & pricing models- To contribute to the regular analysis and review of underwriting practices and procedures- To assist in the improvement of the management information systems, rating mode
