Senior Editor, Research Content and Communications

INSEAD is seeking a **Senior Editor, Research Content and Communications**to join our Research and Innovation Department. This is a full-time, permanent based at our Europe Campus in Fontainebleau, France. A hybrid working model is in place - 3 days on campus, 2 days from home.

**About the job**

Reporting to the Director, Research Content and Communications, you will work with internal and external stakeholders to develop and promote research and thought leadership content that showcases INSEAD’s academic excellence and research impact. Through the development of accessible, engaging and insightful content on various channels, you should help build awareness of INSEAD research (and by default INSEAD teaching and impact) to a global audience, including INSEAD alumni, clients, students, staff, prospective students and the wider business community.

**Your role within the team**
- Produce, edit and publish research and thought leadership content on INSEAD Knowledge, including articles, podcasts and videos.
- Shape editorial direction and content curation by collaborating with and guiding faculty to position complex academic research and thought leadership for a global managerial audience.
- Amplify research and thought leadership content through social media channels and in collaboration with the Social Engagement team.
- Use insights from content performance and digital metrics to refine and improve future outputs.
- Develop content for faculty for external publications and media outlets in collaboration with the Media Relations team.Cover and promote research-related INSEAD and partner events and conferences.
- Bachelor degree in a relevant discipline.
- At least 5-8 years of relevant experience in editorial positions, ideally working for business or news-related publications or within higher education / research institutions.
- Demonstrate a proven track record of producing insightful, accurate and informative content through interviews and by conducting research. Strong project-management and problem-solving skills are also essential.
- Experience of managing websites and working with web authoring and publishing software.
- Experience of hiring and managing internal and external writers, and working with multiple stakeholders, including academics and business leaders would be beneficial.
- Experience working within multi-cultural teams and coordinating across global teams and time zones would also be important.
- Knowledge of social media platforms and strategy, data analytics and experience in multimedia production is a plus.
- Keen interest in global affairs and the latest business and management trends.
- Functional skills: Writing, Editing, Copy Editing, Proof Reading, Social Media Content Creation, Event Coverage. Video and Podcast Creation and Post-production; Data Analytics, SEO Optimisation a bonus.
- Contribute to a collaborative culture, showing a willingness to work with others to achieve common objectives.Consistently deliver high-quality work and demonstrate reliability in performing their day-to-day responsibilities.
