The Communications department at INSEAD is dedicated to building the reputation of INSEAD. It plays a crucial role in partnering with various internal stakeholders, supporting the school’s strategic initiatives and promoting engagement within the INSEAD community.

INSEAD is seeking a **Senior Manager, Brand Editorial Content**to join our Communications Department. This is a full-time, permanent contract position based on our Europe Campus in Fontainebleau, France. A hybrid working model is in place - 3 days on campus, 2 days from home.

**About the job**

The Senior Manager, Brand Editorial Content will take our brand communications to the next level and improve efficiency of our content processes and projects - driving brand reputation through increased intentional content on INSEAD’s institutional impact and strategic outlook.

Reporting to the Director, Brand Communications, he/she will lead the Brand Editorial Content Unit, developing the editorial line for brand communications for INSEAD, creating and implementing the institutional narratives on key focus areas in close collaboration with other departments and communications functions. He/she is responsible for shaping communications with an authentic, distinctive premium voice and breathes INSEAD’s innovation and entrepreneurial spirit.

**Your role within the team**
- This role is directly responsible for the development, execution, and delivery of engaging, data-driven storytelling editorial content that connects with the INSEAD community, academics opinion leaders and the wider public. They will be accountable for leading the institution's narratives and shaping communications with an authentic, distinctive premium voice that embodies INSEAD’s innovation and entrepreneurial spirit.

**Key accountabilities**
- Lead the Brand Editorial Content unit to develop the editorial direction for INSEAD’s brand communications and craft institutional narratives on key focus areas, in close collaboration with other departments and communications functions.
- Drive the editorial brand content strategy, including the development of brand narratives on the strategic focus areas of the school.
- Map out an annual content plan and maintain an editorial calendar, working with external partners/vendors to develop original content.
- Develop and implement the content channel dissemination strategy for Media, Social Media, Website, and Events.
- Assess digital metrics and make improvements accordingly, optimising content according to SEO.
- Define the brand influence and advocacy strategy. Outputs include Newsletters and Podcasts.

Contribute towards Dean’s communication and visibility, written and multimedia content, incl. Op-eds.

The Senior Manager, Brand Editorial Content has an eye for current trends and is skilled at developing relevant editorial themes and story angles based on trending topics and brand priorities. The individual is adept at ensuring the efficient workflow and management of content development across a variety of user touchpoints. In addition, this person is strategically minded and looking for the exciting opportunity to shape the brand narrative of one of the most renowned and global business schools in the world.
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Journalism, Multimedia, or Marketing
- 8-10 years of experience in a writing, editorial, and brand or content development capacity
- Exceptional writing and editing skills in English - preference for native speaker
- Experience working with agencies and/or content creators
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to lead a dedicated unit and work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strategic thinking and ability to develop and execute a comprehensive editorial narrative
- High level of creativity; innovative; striving to find new approaches to enhance the impact of communications
- Deep understanding of the institutional brand positioning and the ability to translate brand identity into compelling content
- Knowledge of SEO best practices to optimise content visibility is a plus
