**Position**

The role of the Innovation Manager is to:

- accelerate the deployment of innovative solutions and make the best usage of Industry 4.0 (robots, smart sensors and IoT, Data science, Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning, etc ) and digital solutions
- manage the development of the first Trescal wide Calibration Execution System that will be deployed in all Trescal laboratories (comparable to a Manufacturing Execution System for industrial companies)

You will report directly to the Group Chief Transformation and Innovation Officer, member of Trescal Executive Team.

**You will be in charge of
- Identify business issues that can be addressed with innovative solutions
- Seed the innovation projects pipeline with latest trends and best practices around automation, AI powered solutions, data mining, etc
- Network with the external innovation eco-system relevant to Trescal
- Deliver, in partnership with IT and Technical departments, the design and implementation of a Trescal-wide Calibration Execution System

**Your main responsibilities on this position will be**
- Manage innovation projects from idea generation to full deployment
- Design new fit-for-purpose solutions to increase operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Partner with the IT department to ensure IT constraints around the Innovation solution are understood and addressed
- Drive project to deliver quickly innovation to the field
- Coordinate external partners
- Manage project budget
- Champion innovation within the organization
- Get country buy-in to go to Proof of Concept phase
- Communicate internally on innovation to ensure solutions are rolled-out as largely as possible within Trescal
- Support deployment of solutions with appropriate training
- Network and perform studies to assess innovation opportunity in relationship with group’ strategy

- Fluent in English
- Master Degree level with a preference for Science / Engineering / IT
