World Athletics is looking for a highly motivated, **Technical Services Coordinator**to join an efficient close-knit financial team of three members.

The role is based at World Athletics’ Head Quarters in Monaco, reporting to the Technical Services Manager - Rules & Certification.

World Athletics is the international governing body for the sport of athletics that includes track, field and road events. It includes 6 continental federations and 214 national federations, each a member of World Athletics.

World Athletics organises leading athletics competitions worldwide including a number of World Athletics Series (WAS) events and its flagship, the biennial World Athletics Championships. It also administers One-Day Meeting circuits such as the World Indoor Tour, Continental Tour, Wanda Diamond League and Road Race Label events.

World Athletics is based in **Monaco**, has a staff of 213 representing 30 different nationalities of all continents. Lord Sebastian Coe was elected as the current World Athletics President in August 2015 ,reelected in 2019 and in 2023. He has since instigated a period of high-profile organisational transformation and modernisation, as well as wide-spread reforms across the sport globally.

**General overview of the position**

This role will primarily be responsible for the Coordination and management of the shoe approval process, development of the Athletic Shoe Regulations and liaison for shoe manufacturers and other stakeholders.

**Description of key responsibilities of the position**
- Certification System
- Liaison with WFSGI, the shoe manufacturers and other stakeholders
- Contribution to the development of the Athletic Shoe Regulations
- Collaboration with and reporting to the Line Manager on all shoe related topics
- Shoe Control Officer on behalf of World Athletics
- Collaboration with shoe control officers of invitational meetings
- Creation of synergy effects for other areas of the certification system
- Support of other technical / competition areas as required

**Skills and experience required**
- Experience in athletics and knowledge of the Athletic Shoe Regulations
- High technical affinity
- Experience in software development projects considered an asset
- Great project management skills
- Experience in stakeholder management
- Ability to read technical drawings
