ITER brings together 35 countries in the construction of the largest Tokamak ever built This device aims to demonstrate that "nuclear fusion" (replicating the unlimited source of energy that powers the sun and the stars) can be used as a large-scale, non-C02 emitting energy source to produce electricity. The ITER project this is: - An experimental installation - The largest thermonuclear fusion facility in the world - A huge construction site based in the South of France (St Paul-Lez-Durance) - Up to 5,000 people employed at the height of construction activity - A multicultural and international environment - A logístical challenge and extraordinary engineering **Role** We are looking for a Planning Engineer M/F for the ITER project in Saint-Paul-lès-Durance close to Aix-en-Provence. Your role will include interfaces coordination. You will directly report to the Project Control Manager. **Key duties & Responsibilities** - Your planning role will include interfaces coordination. - Collaborative working in an integrated Client / Contractor team - Responsible for integrating the workpack estimates from the preparations team into the overall project plan while maintaining integrity with the cost system (through interaction with Cost Specialist) - Coordinating with Worksite teams regarding change control and reporting - Tracking of Scope changes impacting the schedule in coherence with the configuration/change management system - Tracking of detailed reasons for delays, impacts, and propose solutions, improvements and lessons learnt. - Responsible for coordinating with department leads for measuring progress to achieve accurate reporting results - Reporting of physical progress, highlighting trends to management team - Generation and presentation of project ’Dashboard’ reports - Develop and Maintain Construction schedule (C-DWS) - Carry out analysis of schedule variations - Collate updates from worksite teams and contractors - Communicate progress to stakeholders - Identify and report delivery risks and issues to the MOMENTUM management team - Carry out resource monitoring and reporting - Drive and coach Contractors for their IWP schedule development, update, reporting, including support on IT tools such as P6, SPF, IDM.You hold a Master’s degree in Project Management or graduated from an Engineer school and have **at least 7 years’ experience in Planning **(post-diploma). You have a significant experience in planning management of major construction projects. You are an advanced Primavera P6 practitioner.
