We are looking for a** Global **System Engineer Expert for our Microbiology ranges** under a permanent contract who will work and grow within the Global Customer Service department. You will report to the Head of the Expert Unit as part of a team of 15 co-workers.
You will be responsible for **training, coaching and providing effective support to bioMerieux's local Customer Services** (subsidiaries and distributors).
**What will be your mission ?**
- ** Training**
- Create and facilitate **learning plans** including training and coaching for subsidiaries and distributors
- Evaluate the **quality of training programs** and the **level** of participants
- Create and update **training modules** according to our procedures
- Organise and deliver **training courses**
- Trainings mostly face-to-face, with occasional remote and/or onsite training
- ** Technical support**
- Provide **emergency support of Level 2 **to subsidiaries and distributors for complaints, questions or suggestions
- Provide **field support** when necessary
- Contribute to **action plans for critical situations**
- Contribute to the creation, development and validation of **support tools** for subsidiaries and distributors to optimise local services (i.e. troubleshooting, FAQ, etc.)
- ** Projects**
- Participate and contribute to **strategic projects** with key players (R&D, Service System Engineering & Support, Quality, etc.).
- Contribute to the **continuous improvement** of our products / services, training material and service tools
**Who are you ?**
- ** Engineering degree** with a major on electronics or mechanics
- ** Minimum 3 years of experience** as a Field Service Engineer in the medical field
- Experience in the field of **IVD**/bacteriology laboratory is a plus
- Ideally, you have **Networking/IT** knowledge
- Experience in **training roll-out** is a plus
- You know how to use PowerPoint and ideally tools to create videos
- ** Fluency in English** is a must
- You like to **pass on your knowledge** and **lead training sessions, **and you have excellent **interpersonal skills**
- You enjoy working in an **intercultural environment**
- Ability to understand and work with **complex processes** while keeping an **innovative mindset** and measuring customer impact
- You appreciate **teamwork** while being **autonomous**
- Position based in **Marcy l'Etoile**, France
- These assignments may require up to 40% **travel** (especially for coaching at client sites)
