Tech Manager

We partner with leading global brands (Nespresso, Nestle, Guerlain, Dole ) to implement sustainable beekeeping programs that increase crop productivity & yield, enhance biodiversity (lower carbon footprint, chemical use reduction), boost farmers' income via revenue diversification, and empower women in beekeeping activities.

**Main Mission**

The Tech Manager will ensure the deployment, technical monitoring, and proper functioning of beekeeping sensors (temperature) for clients and partners. The role also includes managing equipment inventory and providing occasional on-site support for deployments.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Deployment Management**
- Plan and organize sensor deployments on-site in coordination with local teams and clients.
- Ensure each installation meets the defined technical and operational standards.
- Train teams and clients in the use of sensors and related tools.

**2. Technical Monitoring and Maintenance**
- Supervise the performance of sensors through remote monitoring.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues encountered by users.
- Manage software and hardware updates for the sensors.
- Establish preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.

**3. Client and Partner Relations**
- Maintain regular follow-ups with clients to ensure satisfaction and proper equipment functionality.
- Suggest technical improvements based on user feedback.
- Prepare technical and operational reports for clients and internal stakeholders.

**4. Field Support**
- Conduct occasional field visits to monitor or oversee complex or critical installations.
- Collaborate with local teams on specific deployment or maintenance projects.

**5. Stock and Logistics Management**
- Manage inventory of sensors, accessories, and spare parts.
- Track material inflows/outflows and optimize stock levels.
- Ensure the availability of required materials before each deployment.
- Handle equipment orders from suppliers.

**Required SkillsTechnical Skills**
- Knowledge of IoT sensors (temperature, weight, humidity, etc.).
- Proficiency with remote monitoring and technical diagnostics tools.
- Understanding of networks (Wi-Fi, GSM, LoRa, etc.) and IoT communication protocols.
- Ability to write technical procedures and reports.

**Organizational and Interpersonal Skills**
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously (planning, monitoring, coordination).
- Excellent communication skills (with technical teams, clients, and partners).
- Strong customer service and satisfaction focus.
- Rigorous and autonomous in managing stocks and equipment.

**Profile**
- Technical background (Engineer or Higher Technician in Electronics, IoT, Industrial Computing, or equivalent).
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role (deployment, technical project management).
- Knowledge of the agricultural or beekeeping sector is a plus.
- Availability for occasional field travel (domestic and international).
- Professional proficiency in English and Spanish is required.

Pay: 30,000.00€ - 35,000.00€ per year
