Geophysical Research Engineer in Electromagnetic

he RDI (Research, Development and Innovation) team is currently developing several innovative products and technologies, notably in the framework of publicly funded research programs with other private and academic partners.

As part of a new collaborative project with a French research institute, we would like to strengthen our team, which is currently composed of geophysicists, R&D engineers and developers.

The project’s goal is to develop an algorithm for compensating electromagnetic induction measurements under a drone.

You will be responsible for:

- Designing methods for compensating magnetic measurements noise (physical adaptations, physical models, conceptual models);
- Participating in the bibliography;
- Defining and conducting experiments in a laboratory and in the field;
- Processing and analyzing data to develop the compensation algorithm;
- Performing physical modeling when necessary;
- Communicating results through internal and external presentations

**REQUIRED SKILLS**:

- Ph.D. or research engineer in geophysics or physics.
- Expertise in electromagnetic prospecting methods (ground, airborne, or marine, frequency or time domain)
- Programming (e.g., Python/pandas/numpy/scipy)
- Magnetic modeling (e.g., Comsol)
- French proficiency;
- Scientific writing and bibliography in English;
- Driver’s license

**DESIRED SKILLS**:

- Airborne geophysical surveying (with UAV or with manned vehicles);
- Unexplosed Ordnance (UXO) surveying;
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team;
