Regional Service Manager

**Regional Service Manager (location: Southern Europe)**:

In this role you will unlock the full potential for profitable service growth in a designated geographic region through business development and operational excellence. You will operate as the nominated Motion Services (MOSE) leader for the region to oversee and support local country MOSE service division leaders and drive market development and service execution. Also, you will be fully responsible for regional business performance and the line-of-sight co-ordination between the MOSE Division Management, front
- and backend units. This role is open globally, but location is set in ABB Offices in Italy, Spain or France.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Work closely with local leaders to build, drive and execute a profitable growth plan.
- Responsible for annual financial target setting and a 3-year development plan for the region including target setting, incentives, people plans and growth initiatives. Provides input to the division on long-term performance plan.
- Responsible for meeting or exceeding targets at regional level.
- Responsible for localization of division strategy. Drive implementation, follow-up, and execution of the strategic initiatives across the division.
- Drive and support optimization and development of the local organizations for service sales and operational capabilities and resources to deliver the best result across the region.
- Drive portfolio end-to-end alignment in the countries and ensure that the backend units are fully represented and aligned in the plans to penetrate the local installed base.
- Develop together with the country’s growth, key account and portfolio penetration plans for local installed base and targeted segments; also manage cross-border business opportunities.
- Responsible to continuously improve service capabilities and skills and the delivery footprint. Ensure ability to deliver expertise and efficient support to customers.
- Manage professional market intelligence in the region.

**Your background**:

- 8+ years of experience working in or supporting a global service organization environment with front-end experience or equivalent.
- Knowledge of drives and motors business is considered as a plus.
- Fluent in written and spoken English is essential. The primary language for the region is considered as a plus.
- Keeping the highest integrity and safety standards.
- Change and conflict management skills.
- Being a motivator, live say-do values and have the ability of one-level-up/across thinking and acting.
- Strong business acumen and full customer success orientation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills considering cultural sensitivity.
- Willingness to travel is required up to 50%
