As the principal 3D Motion graphic designer & illustrator, you will be responsible for creating delightful and engaging experiences to make the digitally transformed insurance simpler and better. As part of a cross-functional team of developers, product managers, business stakeholders and other designers, you will be responsible for translating our key solutions though engaging visual experience.

As a Principal 3D Motion graphic designer, you will be an expert in your craft, leading your discipline through a well-developed range of creative, technical and strategic superpowers that elevate the purpose, perception and impact of motion design. You will define mechanisms that increase collaboration, adoption and quality of design solutions - advocating for your ideas by putting them in context of business and customer goals.

**In this role you will**:

- Create original, entertaining animations for our websites, apps, social media, and marketing campaigns while keeping characters and UI elements on-model and appealing;
- Should have the ability to navigate ambiguity to drive the design cycle and multitask in an fast-paced environment
- Bring expertise in both motion and visual design to the table
- Identify new and innovative ways by which animation can influence our products and brand.
- You will have experience in video post-production, video editing.
- Design for device modalities including touch, voice and remote input.
- Work on a collaborative team and partnering directly with product managers for design implementation
- Design and produce rich motion graphic sequences containing 2D graphic, typography animation and photorealistic 3D environments.
- Estimate project resources and prioritize work based on complexity and value in conjunction with project managers and design leads
- Become a valuable member of our design team, where we constantly push creative borders.

You will be reporting to the Director of Product Design.

**What you bring**:

- 6+ years of professional experience as a motion graphic designer by leading projects from concept to delivery
- An exceptional portfolio that demonstrates experience creating innovative user-centered design solutions
- Experience crafting motion design and documentation for platforms such as iOS, Android, Mobile, and VR/AR
- You have advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (primarily After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator and Photoshop) and related plugins.
- good knowledge of 3D, Cinema 4D & Redshift experience is a big plus.
- Experience in a variety of design tools such as After Effects, Sketch, Figma, and other animation prototyping tools
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Experience designing for multiple platforms such as mobile, multimodal, voice, TV, web and virtual reality
- Visual design expertise demonstrated through mockups, motion studies and style guides
- Mastery of After Effects and other software for creating user interface animations.
- Experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Cinema4D, Illustrator, Lottie and prototyping tools
- You’re fluent in English. German is a plus.
- You have strong communication skills with an ability to give/receive constructive feedback.
