Air Liquide’s ambition is to lead its industry, deliver long-term performance and contribute to sustainability. **Entity and activity description** The Electronics division of Air Liquide Japan** supplies global key players of the Electronics market such as Sony, Kioxia (Toshiba), Micron and etc. As the products of these customers become more detailed, they also require Air Liquide to perform high levels of quality control and equipment predictive maintenance in order to provide reliable supply and flawless quality. To respond to this ever increasing demand from its customers, AL decided to establish marketing function to grow rapidly and the supports the electronics in Air Liquide Japan The role of the **Markets Analyst** is to deeply understand the Electronics Market (Logic, Memory, Analog, O-S-D, Flat Panel Display, Photovoltaic), **including trends of semiconductor company investment, technologies, and end-user markets**. This knowledge will be used to prepare and synthesize analysis for executives within the group as well as other internal stakeholders for decision making. **Missions and Responsibilities** The mission of the future Market Analyst will split in **3 main responsibilities**: - **MARKET TRENDS** - Prepare quarterly market trends with in depth analysis - Coordinating and discussion with consultants on Market Data - Analysis of trends in various Semiconductor Markets (Logic, Foundry, Memory, Analog, O-S-D, FPD, PV) - Analysis of key topics for quarter (Acquisitions, investment announcements, fab stoppages, etc.)" - Monthly presentation to the General Manager - **SALES ANALYSIS** - Update the sales database on a quarterly basis - Support Operations Control team on quarterly sales analysis exercise - **MARKET ANALYSIS** - Understand the market trends, detect and alert any significant events and evolutions - Synthesize and prepare memos on various semiconductor topics (new technologies, to be distributed to Executives. - Support market analysis - Maintain EL databases (Market share, Sales, etc.) - **OTHERS** - Customer project assessment and risk analysis - Ad hoc requests on market information to support local teams **Competencies and Profile** Master Degree in Engineering/Science** field or Master Degree in Business School with a specialization in Marketing Expected: - **Soft Skills** - Communication skills with various stakeholders - Experience of led projects with results (project management skill) - Eagerness to learn about various technologies (SPC: Statistical Process Control, Digital, BI ) - The ability to identify issues and propose solutions to solve them - **Nice to have**: - IT and Electronics Industry - Ability to use SQL, Python, Power BI (or other BI tool) - Understanding of the quality requirements of electronics customers - First experience with Electronics or Industrial company **Language**: - English - Fluent (Ability to communicate with non-French speaking stakeholders) - Japanese (N4 level is a** minimum N2** or above appreciated) **Additional information** Please send your CV and motivation letter in English** **Position based in Tokyo (Innovation Campus Tokyo) for an initial period of 12 months, extendable once.** The V.I.E., an international young graduate program, enables young professionals who are less than 28 and European Union nationals to work for a French company in any country of the world.
