Its broad service ranges from cell-based assays - for the phenotypic evaluation of novel immunotherapeutics and determination of in vitro molecular mechanisms of action - to in vivo studies, using preclinical tumor models and translational biomarker discovery assays. To strengthen and expand our teams and activities, we need you as a motivated Study Director, and ready to take up with us our fight against cancer
Explicyte, an IO-focused CRO, is indeed currently looking for an experienced Scientist Immuno-Oncology Study Director, who will be accountable for the comprehensive management of Sponsors’ and R&D projects (in vitro & in vivo preclinical studies, and translational research), from the scientific design up to the reporting.
In your role, you will be responsible for the successful scientific conception and management of studies, from the outlining and establishment of scientific proposals, to the data interpretation and reporting. You will timeously ensure study deliverables and, beyond that, will be a strong quality interface with Sponsors.
You will interact closely within cross-functional teams, and will exchange directly with the CSO.
**Your main Missions & Responsibilities**
- Guarantee the scientific background required according to the **i)** Sponsor’s needs and **ii)** study objectives
- Ensure a strong quality interface with Sponsors and Collaborators
- Lead and manage Sponsor's and R&D studies, and be accountable for the quality, timeliness and completeness of data and reporting packages
- Display an in-depth knowledge and mastery of experimental approaches & protocols to be used to ensure **i)** correct study implementation and monitoring and **ii)** steering and supervision of Study Managers belonging to the different teams
- Timely interpret and compile data to ensure accuracy and completeness of study documentation, and for timely submission of internal and external study reports
- Contribute as an expert to cross-functional projects and meetings

**Your Skills & Traits required for the Position**
- Ph.D. or equivalent combination of education/experience in science and health-related field
- Ph.D. in Immuno-oncology, Immunology, or Oncology is preferred
- Project leadership experience, supervising multiple, successful programs
- At least 3-years’ experience in project leadership in a Pharma, Biotech, or CRO environment
- Strong commitment and accountability for achieving objectives
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Enthusiasm, high motivation, and eagerness to learn and to thrive in a dynamic multi-team environment, with integrity and excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
