**Your position**

In our quest to develop new in vitro platforms and assays, relevant for the testing and development of novel immunotherapeutic strategies, we need you to make it happen

Explicyte, an Immuno-oncology focused CRO located in Bordeaux, is indeed currently looking for a Scientist in vitro Immuno-Oncology Study Manager to strengthen our teams. This position will be part of our in vitro cross-functional team and will be responsible for the technical and organizational management of Sponsors’ and R&D in vitro studies.

In your role, you will translate proposed strategies into experimental plan and ensure their implementation and successful performance. You will organize and carry out relevant complex assays and models, analyze their data and provide deliverables with respect to the project’s requirements and timelines.

You will interact closely with all the in vitro team members as well as with other immuno-oncology team members, and will report directly to the CSO.

**Your main Missions & Responsibilities**
- Write draft protocols according to the experimental and bibliographical aspects of proposed strategies and study proposals
- Plan and implement studies according to their design and the established schedules
- Carry out _in vitro_ and _ex vivo_ experiments
- 3D approaches using spheroids, organoids (mono or multi-type cells), and patient-derived tumor samples and their use in preclinical research and therapeutic assessment.
- Cell culture-based experiments for functional immuno-oncology assays: with human and rodent cell origins, with tumor and/or immune cell (PBMCs, T cell populations, macrophages, tumor-infiltrating leukocytes ) components, and requiring immune cell isolation and cultivation, differentiation, polarization
- _Ex-vivo_-based experiments: processing of preclinical and clinical tissue samples (e.g. tumors, lymph nodes, blood, spleen, bone marrow) for immune or tumor cell isolation, or for further analyses (eg. Flow cytometry).
- Accurate and timely acquisition of biological measures relying on the in-house technological platforms (flow cytometry, live cell kinetics, cell & tissue imaging, HTRF, ELISA )
- Capture and analyze data, including quality controls
- Timely compile data to ensure accuracy and completeness of study documentation, and for timely submission of study deliverables
- Write internal protocols and standard operating procedures
- Contribute to scientific development by implementing new methods and training other collaborators and team’s members
- Contribute as an expert to cross-functional projects and meetings

**Your Skills & Traits required for the Position**
- PhD - or equivalent experience - in immuno-oncology, oncology, immunology or biotechnology
- Mastery of culture cell protocols (2D, 3D, immune/tumor cell co-cultures, immune cell isolation and cultivation, differentiation and polarization protocols,)
- Broad understanding of tumor immunology and/or cancer therapies
- Mastery of multiparametric analysis methodologies, mainly in flow cytometry
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in preclinical development in a health industry: Pharma, Biotech, CRO
- Ability to adapt activities and priorities to challenging deliverables
- Written and oral communication skills
- Experience in project management is highly appreciated
- Enthusiasm and high motivation, with integrity and excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
