Emea Head of Reporting

The EMEA Head of Reportingrole is to cover the following activities for the benefit of local entities and branches : manage the non-technical closing and reporting activities, support the Regional teams, design the framework that the Local entities (and branches) will need to comply with, contribute to the development of the Reportingteam across Europe, deliver enhanced operational efficiency by standardizing and mutualizing processes.

**Operational activities**
- Manage and oversee the multi-gaap non-technical closing and reporting process for all EMEA entities and the preparation of accounting presentations and topics included in the quarterly results presentations to local boards and to the group in close collaboration with the technical closing.
- Ensure the delivery of high quality, well explained and multi-gaap compliant results for all EMEA entities on a timely basis.
- Oversee the production and analysis of non-technical Solvency II QRTs and local regulatory reporting
- Oversee the production of SCOR SE accounts in French Gaap
- Ensure all systems related to non-technical financials within the region comply with the appropriate financial governance, local and group accounting standards and organizational policies and procedures.
- Establish, implement, and monitor, in coordination with the Regional EMEA Head of Closing and Reporting and local CFOs, the appropriate internal controls and policies to ensure compliance with all GAAPs and more specifically the local statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Involvement and or secondment in EMEA finance projects as required
- Proactively work with the Regional EMEA Head of Closing and Reporting to identify skill gaps and assist to support and develop skills within the regional team as required.
- Manage the team across multiple sites/locations, ensure an effective collaboration and maintain a positive work environment Oversee and develop the team under your responsibility to build and maintain a best-in-class function

**Finance transformation involvement**
- Contribute to the design and the implementation of a consistent Regional Reporting team across the EMEA region and manage interactions with local teams and the broader Finance team:

- Design the target organization of the Regional Reporting Team
- Build the roadmap and the implementation calendar
- Seek areas to improve efficiency by improving workflow, setting up automation or better use of accounting and reporting systems, in order to meet the savings objectives.
- Contribute to the creation of a global service pools on and unified reporting tream across EMEA, to deliver regulatory and other local fillings
- Support the transformation and simplification initiatives as well as the related finance ToM and One SCOR cultural journey. This includes the oversight of the transition of reporting teams to the target organization. The international dimension of the organization has to be considered, with inclusion and multicultural aspects.

**Quality of service provision**
- Support and work closely with other Finance heads and local CFOs and actively participate in finance communities, working in an open and collaborative manner with all finance and other stakeholders
- Reinforce a client focused mindset as more services are being pooled to maximize the satisfaction of internal clients
- Create a positive spirit of collaboration across teams within EMEA reporting
- At least 10-year strong financial industry credentials in reinsurance,
- Robust accounting skills
- Deep understanding of End-to-End Group and Local closing and reporting processes and tools to be able to design efficient and consistent service pools that leverage existing tools and processes.
- Proven leadership qualities and positive track record in managing multicultural teams across multiple sites/ locations and being a change agent
- Solution-oriented, pragmatic, and constructive
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to analyze data, and develop recommendations and action plans
