Toulouse, France NXP Semiconductors Temps plein

**Location**: Toulouse**
**Profile**: master’s degree, last year of engineering in electrical / electronic / computer engineering.**

**Context**

**NXP Toulouse develops, validates, and qualifies power management integrated circuits (PMIC) for powering embedded systems in the automotive sector.**

Validation of PMICs at the system level requires the control and observation of multiple digital and analog inputs and outputs. Non-exhaustive list of tests: fault injection, reaction to ISO (ISO 16750-2) and custom (non-ISO) pulses, transient load / line, stability, efficiency, etc.

The automotive standard ISO26262 is very strict on the conditions for execution and reproducibility of validation tests. To improve the test execution standard, it is fundamental to automate as much as possible.

Automate equipment tracking and configuration is essential. In addition, the configuration of the device under test, execution, the archiving of results and generation of reports is also important.

**We are looking for an intern for six months who will develop software tools for interfacing equipment, PMIC under test, piloting the test, store and analyze results, and generating reports.**

**Your responsibilities**

The trainee will be responsible for/perform one or more of the following tasks:

- Architect and write the test control software.
- Write unit tests and validate the software.
- Carry out measurement campaigns.
- Analyze results and generate reports.

**Your profile**
- **Education level: master’s degree / last year of engineering school in electrical / electronic / computer engineering.**:

- Knowledge required in:

- Analog (LDO, SMPS) and digital (logic, state machine) electronics.
- PCB design software (schematic/layout) : Cadence for Windows preferred
- Software architecture, languages: Python, LabView, C/C++.
- A good level of English is required, working in an international multi-site team**Lieu**:Toulouse**
**Profil**: Bac + 5, dernière année d’école d’ingénieur en génie électrique / électronique / informatique.**

**Contexte**

**Votre profil**
