**Who are we? Avio Group** is an international organization, leader in the development and production of space launchers, solid and liquid propulsion systems, as well as tactical missile systems. Avio premises are located in Italy, France and French Guyana with 5 sites and more than 1000 employees, 30% of them are involved in R&D activities.
**What do we do? **Avio is leader in space propulsion and launchers sectors, thanks to more than 50 years of activities in such fields.
In addition to its role of prime contractor for the Vega launcher family, the European Space Agency has recently decided to entrust Avio with the role of Launch Services Provider and operator of the Vega launcher.
The team in charge of the marketing and operations of Vega launch services will be based in Paris, France at AVIO FRANCE offices.
**Position**:
For new and challenging projects, we are looking for professionals from the space sector with passion and motivation to becoming part of a big team with importance goals. In particular a **Financial Officer **(M/W).
As a Financial Officer in the space sector, you will play a critical role in managing the financial aspects of our space missions and projects. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to develop budgets, track expenses, and analyze financial performance. Your expertise in financial management and your ability to provide strategic insights will be instrumental in ensuring the success of our missions and advancing our capabilities in outer space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and propose financial terms for each Launch Service contract in support to the Sales Manager (payment plans, financial conditions, etc.)
- Coordinate the necessary action and internal and external interfaces to support the financial negotiation of launch services contracts,
- Support the negotiations and interface with customers to evaluate and establish possible actions in the field of project financing, structured credit and any other possible financial support
- Coordinate the support of project controllers and all the different project entities involved (procurement, sales, etc.) to establish financial reports and balance sheets in support to each launch contract program
- Prepare financial reports on the launch services activities to the group CFO and company top management
- Manage external interfaces with financial brokers, insurances, export credit agencies, banks, etc. in support to the launch contracts activity.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree or Master Degree in Law / International Law or in Economics
- Proven experience in financial activity for international projects
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
