We are looking for our **Global Head of Environmental Performance** to join the BlaBlaCar team. In this role, you will be in charge of developing and implementing our worldwide Carbon Credits schemes. We are at the beginning of the journey; we are looking for someone with a strong entrepreneurial mindset to unlock and drive this potential.
You will be reporting directly to our Chief Financial Officer.

**Your responsibilities**
- Develop BlaBlaCar’s worldwide strategy for Carbon Credits
- Implement the necessary studies and analytical frameworks, manage external stakeholders and consultants
- Identify the best schemes, negotiate them with the relevant international and national authorities and implement them
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and P&L owners as you activate your plan
- Develop and manage a strong relationship with external business partners
- Own the schemes within BlaBlaCar, you are in touch with external stakeholders (public and private) and on top of the legislation and its evolutions. You support local teams by sharing your knowledge.
- Support your team members already working on the ESC scheme in France
- Build and manage a team of 3-4 people

**What makes you a great fit**
- 7-8+ years of experience in consulting or finance or project management
- Experience in carbon credit or energy savings certificates is highly desired
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset
- People management is a strong plus
- Ability to convince and build strong relationships with partners
- Very organized, results-driven, and able to prioritize in a changing environment
- Naturally positive, energetic & motivated
- Excellent English & French
