Its role is to guarantee Innovafeed industrial scale up, by designing, building and commissioning Innovafeed's production plants. The Engineering team also develops the latest and greatest technology to industrialize insect production. Within the Engineering team, your role will be to: - Participate in the ambitious industrial deployment of Innovafeed in Europe and internationally ; - Actively contribute to the industrialization of an innovative and disruptive production system, in order to achieve our ambitious large-scale impact goals; - Reach a new horizon in vertical farming technology and efficiency. More specifically, you will join the Infrastructure, Energy Networks and Utilities team and report to the VP Engineering. The "Infrastructure, Energy Networks and Utilities" branch within the Engineering team is in charge of the conception of the buildings and the energy networks on Innovafeed sites. Innovafeed operationnal strategy relies on a symbiotic model including fatal energy recovery at our industrial partners to limit our environmental impact and optimize the energy at a greater scale. Energy topics are at the heart of Innovafeed strategy. As Engineering Director, you will be in charge of the branch structuration. More particularly, your missions will be the following: - Manage a team of 3 to 5 Engineering Process Manager. As their manager, you will be in charge of their development on the relevant soft and hard skills. - Your team will be in charge of the basic design, specification, detailed design and project execution of the building, the energy networks and the utilities networks for Innovafeed production plants. The design has to be done in coordination with the process engineers mobilized on the project in order to meet their requirements. - Your team will also be in charge of the basic design, specification, detailed design and project execution of the interconnections with our Industrial partners where Innovafeed recovers fatal energy, aiming at optimizing the energy consumption and recovery and limiting Innovafeed environmental footprint. - As Engineering Director, you will coach your team to drive the projects, deliver the project deliverables, meet the project planning and conduct the problem solvings with the right level of depth and structuration. - You will manage the Energy model of Innovafeed plants, finding ways to improve our energy efficiency and energy consumption. - You will build the "Infrastructure, Energy Networks and Utilities" branch roadmap and give vision to your team and the rest of the Engineering team. - You will structure and build Innovafeed technical standards, tools, processes and organization to bring expertise on the Infrastructure, Energy and Utilities topics. **Your profile and skills** With a Master's degree from an Engineering school, you have 8 to 12 years of experience in Infrastructure and/or Utilities/piping.
