In its strategy of innovation and the development of a portfolio of projects in Immuno-Oncology, DOMAIN THERAPEUTICS is enthusiastic to welcome his/her:
**Head of the Department Translational R&D & BMKs**:
Reporting directly to the Director of Research in Biology - IO and Pharmacology, you will interact transversally with Scientific Departments, R&D project managers/leaders, Laboratory managers and technical staff.

**In order to carry out your mission you will have to**:
**MAIN MISSIONS**:

- Act as a scientific leader in the fields of biomarker discovery, development, and translational science
- Partner with preclinical and drug discovery scientists to design and conduct translational research to discover and validate pathways and biomarkers associated with mechanism of action, drug response, and patient stratification
- Collaborate with preclinical development teams, clinical operations, and external experts to develop scientifically rigorous translational and exploratory biomarker strategies
- Carry out bibliographic studies in order to argue the therapeutic positioning of the molecules developed
- Identify the rationale for combo-therapy approaches
- Propose technological approaches to assess early signs of efficacy during clinical phases, patient selection and contributing to a better understanding of variability in patient response
- Oversee the development of companion diagnostic tests by external companies
- Support scientific input and review of all aspects of translational medicine from clinical and regulatory documents, including but not limited to development plans, study protocols, clinical study reports, regulatory submissions, and responses to any regulatory questions
- Propose and develop innovative methods and technologies as well as new orientations for the development of projects
- Act as a scientific opinion leader inside and outside the company
- Lead a network with the external scientific and medical community

**MANAGEMENT**:

- Manage outsourcing of activities
- Functional and administrative responsibility of the Department of Translational R&D & BMKs
- Organize and prioritize studies in order to acquire knowledge on the portfolio of molecules and accelerate their development in the clinic successfully
- Ensure a regular and complete cascade of information to the team
- Contribute to budget decisions and monitor the costs of outsourced stud

**YOUR PROFILE**:
***:

- PhD (and/or MD) with a specialization in cellular or molecular biology, immunology, cancer biology and/or pharmacology
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry in biomarker discovery and companion diagnostics
- Deep understanding of clinical trials and clinical strategy, experience in oncology drug development as well as analytical and clinical validation of biomarker tests
- First-hand experience with the identification and validation of pharmacodynamic and patient selection biomarkers and clinical implementation
- Able to drive and influence projects from discovery to early clinical development with a focus on identifying indications with biomarkers of response and/or resistance to treatment
- Expert in setting up and conducting preclinical studies
