Senior Software Engineer - Intelligence Assurance H/F

This role has been designated as ‘Edge’, which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) Communication Technology Group (CTG) develops and delivers infrastructure and software solutions on Cloud infrastructures for the Communication Industry. Our clients are worldwide Telecom customers.

We are looking for a **Backend Senior Software Engineer** with a proven knowledge and experience in heavy backend parallel processing and Artificial Intelligence to join our development team in charge of the Intelligence Assurance. It is a set of engines that provide Anomaly Detection and Aggregation capabilities for our Telco customers. Senior Software Engineer is in charge of driving technical thread on all aspect of Backend engine development and assist Scrum Master in the definition of planning for the Frontend team.

We are looking for:

- Responsible for developing reliable, cost effective and high quality backend processing software in an agile team.
- Good knowledge of modern backend development based on Spark Streaming and Kafka Streams Framework (telegraf) and standard (java, scala, python, etc)
- Good knowledge in database (Cassandra, postgres, H2) and collection and mediation layer (Kafka)
- Good telco customer analysis. Knowledge in telco 5g Core stack is a plus.
- Excellent complex processing, parallel processing analysis and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Owns design, coding, unit / functional testing, integration and documentation activities (Sphynx, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate product architectures and design proposals.
- Ability to work with local and remote teams with agile methodologies (SCRUM, SAFe). Certification is a plus.
- Hands-on on Kubernetes environment is a plus.

**Education and Experience Required**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
