Industrial Services & Spare Parts covers 10% of this spend being present at 7 sites (plants) in 5 countries (Spain, Germany, France, Poland, Belgium).

**About the role**
- Actively participate in the strategic procurement activities for Technical non-standard parts - mostly mechanical - within the spend of Europe
- Analyse spend in Europe and drive cost reduction
- Within the change of local suppliers towards Best Value Countries suppliers (suppliers from other countries like China, Turkey, Ukraine,) you are responsible to manage product families across all Europe and to support and implement other product families locally. It concerns both contract management and spot orders.
- Work closely with internal customers across European sites to ensure effective strategic procurement and business continuity
- Work closely with Lead Buyer in conducting research on supply markets with support of China team for Chinese market, price benchmarks, and supplier profiles
- Work closely together with the users and user representative (Lead User) to develop new suppliers for dedicated product families.
- Work closely together with and guide the purchasing agents that are based abroad.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Execute supplier selection, negotiation, and contracting for the mills/sites. For business with China or Turkey you can rely on support of China team for Chinese market or the buyer supporting the Turkish market For the product families under your responsibility first you take care of the business for your scope (plants). For specific families you develop the solutions across all European plants by supporting and guiding the colleagues. For other product families you will implement solutions locally under guidance of one of your colleagues. At the end you have a responsibility on the progress and implementation of product families at local level.
- Develop and maintain supplier relationship
- Monitor contract compliance
- Guarantee a service good service level to the internal customer (user) expressed in a KPI.
- Deliver savings and subcategory KPI targets and assist Lead Buyer with necessary analyses:

- Spend data analysis and basic financial analyses
- Performance reporting
- Price benchmarks
- Supplier profile
- Achieve effective procurement and business continuity by cooperating with internal customers
- Participate in transversal working groups and projects
- Integrate new requests to existing contracts

**Your profile**

You hold a Master’s degree in Economics, Procurement, Mechanical Engineering or Supply Chain.

You have a Successful track record in Procurement and you know the main suppliers panels for mechanical products. 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis will be an asset.

As a genuine buyer, you have problem-solving and analytical skills and a good ease facing numbers.

You have a good technical knowledge of contracts and targeted systems but also in project management and negotiation.

With a technical background you have Mechanical and electrical competences and thus, you are able to discuss on technical topics with users and to technically evaluate different supplier proposals

You combine a strong personality/leadership and communication skills with an appetite for finding information on innovative industry trends and for market analysis.

Result and Customer oriented, you are able to work under deadline pressure and to manage the change towards other stakeholders.

On top French and English, any additional European language is appreciated.
