Description

UKG is looking for our new DBA for one of our product line. At the same time, you will be dedicated to the teams of the Document Manager Product Line and participate to the overall data strategy through our data tribe.
UKG has organized the team with agile methodology and continues to be as up to date as possible, each member of the team can be involved in research project to push new technologies in our stack. UKG is a regular sponsor of PostgreSQL meetup in France, and encouraged the employee to attend technical conference or talk at them.
The position is open in Paris or can be full remote in France or Germany.
Your Key Missions Will Be
- Work closely with the Engineering teams to produce good schema design and write efficient queries
- Perform regular database schema changes with no downtime (blue green principles)
- Monitor database environment to maintain high availability and proactively identify, tackle issues and suggest optimizations
- Monitor and ensure our backup solutions are safe and secured

**Qualifications**:
Expert knowledge with SQL and overall knowledge in Database Languages
- 5+ years of proven ability with Postgres architecture, monitoring and troubleshooting
- Experience in GNU/Linux environment
- Experience with Postgres and GCP / Cloud SQL is a plus
- Knowledge of Datadog monitoring platform is a plus
