**About the role**

We are looking for a junior Strategy & Business Analyst to join the team working on our Western Europe activities, which include long-distance carpooling, short-distance carpooling, buses - and soon train
- The team’s mission is to guide strategic decision-making and contribute to scaling our activities in Europe. Among other things, we achieve this mission through analyzing data, building dashboards, creating reporting and producing budgets and forecasts.
- Within the team, you’ll work closely with the Strategy Lead (Candice François) and other Strategy & Business Analysts. Through your projects, you will also be collaborating with Business Line Managers, Product Managers and Marketing Managers.
- Alongside your team, you’ll join a well-rounded and experienced Strategy team, and will belong to the Analytics Chapter, an internal community of 25+ analysts who meet regularly to share, learn and innovate on data analytics.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Build a strong understanding of the levers impacting our performance (growth dynamics, competition, network & pricing structure) and recommend actions to increase our impact
- Carry out competition analyses to support strategic decision-making and make sure we adapt with agility to market changes
- Provide actionable insights and reports to BlaBlaCar’s executives to support their strategic decision-making
- Evaluate the performance of current business operations and recommend strategies and tactics to achieve business goals
- Build problem-solving framework to break down and structure complex issues
- Build positive and trustful relationship while working with management and local teams to identify business needs, challenges and opportunities
- Analyze and deliver reports for stakeholders with Tableau software

**Your Qualifications**:

- Degree in Engineering, Business or Economics
- 0-1 year experience in entrepreneurship, consulting, business intelligence, or other relevant analytical position
- Excellent communication skills: experience in synthesizing and communicating data clearly
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, ability to think strategically and “outside the box”
- Strong attention to details and the ability to step back to see the bigger picture
- High level of autonomy and proactivity
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau) and SQL would be a plus
- Fluent in English and in French
