We aim to produce sustainable, affordable, high-capacity, longer-life batteries as a** cleaner alternative to current energy sources**. We create an R&D center and new state-of-the art facility in France (New Aquitaine), with gigafactories to be built in Hauts de France and Germany.

**Job description**:
Main missions:

- Support pilot line and gigafactories process setup and optimization by modeling processes
- Manage internal and external projects, contracts, while collaborating with internal teams (R&D, Industrialization, Projects, Simulation,).
- Adapt and Run 0D/1D/2D/3D models, based on a pre-identified set of physics-based equations, using pre-existing numerical tools or developing adapted in-house numerical models.
- Manage collaborations with suppliers, customers and strategic partners.
- Contribute to the company roadmap.
- Be up to date to the state of the art on its topic of expertise.
- Support Intellectual Property monitoring and propose innovative patentable concepts.

**Profile**:
**Knowledge / Know how**:

- Excellent understanding of battery manufacturing processes
- Excellent understanding of current technological limits
- Excellent knowledge on CFD or mechanical modeling.
- Good basis of software development in Python and C.
- DEM is a big plus.
- Reduced order modeling is a plus.
- Notions in data science is definitively a plus.
- Porous material, phase change, material science elements.
- Problem solving methods.

**Experience**:
Minimum 3 years experience in similar job.Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar job.

**Qualifications**:

- MSc with 3 years of experience or PhD with thesis
- Fluent in English

**Key behaviours**:

**Some extra skills which make the difference**:
Problem solving methods (8D, ), modelling, project management, French, any other languages.
