**Job Summary**

This is a maternity leave replacement role.

**Employment Type**: Full-time / fixed-term contract (CDD) 1 April 2025 - 30 September 2025

**Your responsibilities**
- As Legal Counsel you contribute to the corporate governance of our French entities as well as the overall HZI Group
- In providing support to our compliance team, you collaborate closely with our Legal Director Corporate & Compliance with onboarding checks (Know Your Customer)
- You administer the KVI Compliance training program
- You support the investigation of ‘whistleblower’ alerts
- You prepare reports on training completion rates for our Senior Management
- You prepare quarterly reports on the Group’s litigation matters
- You provide legal support on special projects

**Qualifications**:
**Your experience**
- You have a Masters’ degree in Law, ideally combined with some compliance training
- You have 3+ years’ experience in French corporate and commercial law, corporate governance, and compliance
- You have excellent written communication skills, an autonomous working style, and are able to balance risks and operational benefits
- You are self-motivated, eager to learn, resilient, calm, and discreet
