We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Management Office (PMO) Leader to join the region SOUTH WEST Europe at VELUX. In this role, you will be a key player in the achievement of our ambitious growth plans, owning the regional project portfolio and ensuring successful execution.

As the PMO Leader, you will play a crucial role in establishing and managing the PMO function, ensuring that projects are effectively planned, executed, and controlled. You will lead a team and your geographical scope will include France, Benelux, Italy, Spain, and Portugal.

Your mission will also consist in spearheading state of the art project management practices and strengthen project management capabilities across the organization.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Establish and Lead the PMO: Develop and implement the PMO framework, policies, and procedures to ensure consistent project management practices. As a key driver of our growth ambitions, lead a team of Project Managers, 1 Transformation Manager and 1 PMO Specialist to support project delivery in the assigned countries.
- Project Portfolio Management: Oversee the management of the project portfolio, facilitating capacity allocation between global, regional and local strategic initiatives and ensuring resource optimization. Review governance and enhance project proposals and business cases evaluation for prioritization and resource allocation.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Develop and implement robust project performance monitoring and reporting mechanisms, enabling data-driven decision-making for achieving our growth targets.
- Risk and Issue Management: Establish proactive processes for identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks and issues.
- Change management: Develop change management plans, incl. communication plans to share the progress and benefits of the transformation project with all stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Management and Business Impact: Foster strong relationships with project stakeholders, at all level across the organization, and influence key decision-makers. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive business impact through effective project execution, continuous improvement, and a passion for delivering results.
- Transformation: Take the lead in designing and executing strategic growth initiatives, spearheading collaboration and co-creation, challenging status quo, fostering out of the box and customer centric thinking, introducing new ways of working with the support of our transformation manager.

**Profile**:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in project management, with a proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PMBOK, Agile, Scrum) and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve exceptional results.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities, with a keen focus on driving business impact.
- Passion and solid track record for conducting transformation and support change within a multinational organization.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable.
- Experience working in a multi-country context, specifically in France, Benelux, Italy, Spain, and Portugal, is preferred.
