**Role Overview**

**We are looking for**:

- The Studies Coordinator is an engineer member of Design Office (DO).
- Mission of DO is to develop optimized industrial investment design activities in projects and ensure the harmonization of all SOLVAY GEC engineering procedures, specifications and standards, in order to ensure the delivery of industrial projects, within the safety, cost, schedule and quality objectives and to support GBU’s roadmap development.

- PROJECT
- Is responsible for proper coordination and communication among Engineering disciplines
- Ensures that documents produced are technically consistent with the specific project constraints (rules & standards, site constraints, technological choices...)
- Ensures the quality, technical integrity of engineering deliverables within the project budget and schedule
- Ensures technical interface with plant representative or construction organization
- Is in charge of packages
- Organizes internal engineering reviews
- Proposes technical optimizations
- Address standardization across the project standards and Solvay rules
- Ensures the implementation of technical design requirements to meet regulatory requirements
- Provides technical answer to questions and requests issued by Contractors
- Regularly informs Project Manager of all key issues and areas of concern regarding Engineering activities
- To ensure technical interface with the site and the GBU;
- To prepare/organize and follow the BEP-end of study phase file with PM and Doc Controller and other specialists.
- Follow-up of EC during detailed engineering phase (Case by case and depending from the Central DO workload and project organization) and in this case Can held the position of Engineering Manager during detailed engineering
- DESIGN OFFICE
- To organize Coordination meetings with Design Office team;
- To ensure that documents produced by Design Office are technically consistent with the specific project constraints (applicable regulations, rules and standards; site and client constraints);
- To address standardization across the project standards and Solvay rules;
- To ensure the implementation of technical design requirements meet regulatory requirements;
- To propose technical optimizations;
- To be responsible of layout/piping studies and to supervise a team of Design office technicians and/or subcontractors;
- To plan the project related activities of DO (including resources);
- To be Responsible for the physical advancement and progress of Design Office studies;
- To ensure the quality and consistency of engineering deliverables within the project scope, budget and schedule.

**You will bring**:

- Engineering background
- At least 10 years of experience in industry
- Nice to have: experience in petrochemical industry
- Understanding of the several aspect of a construction project
