**Job omschrijving**.**:

- Office-based, remote Sales role (‘Sales Rep without a car’) with approx.. 10%-20% of working time in the field
- Part of Inside Sales & Digital Customer Engagement Europe
- Achieve financial targets for Tecan’s products in assigned Sales Territory
- Work collaboratively with Sales, Service, Marketing and Customer Operations’ teams
- Implement the company’s activities around Digital Customer Engagement
- Continuously increase personal efficiency and productivity
- Actively sell Reagents, Consumables, Service Products and Small Instruments
- Sell Tecan’s products by using telephone/videocall, appropriate digital channels, and on-site visits
- Achieve personal targets for order entry and sales for Tecan’s products in assigned sales territory
- Retain and grow business by actively engaging with existing customers and by acquiring new accounts
- Actively manage a Sales Pipeline with Leads and Opportunities following an own Territory Plan
- Develop and maintain a high level of consultative sales skills and outbound communications
- Produce and deliver regular forecasts monthly or when requested
- Actively drive Tecan’s Digital Customer Engagement initiatives by remote customer engagement
- Play an active role on Strategic Projects such as E-Commerce and CRM initiatives, sales campaigns
- Actively manage personal costs and expenses,
- Works collaboratively with European Sales and Service teams, and related global teams on sales process, new market opportunities, technology, product improvements, and competition
- Continually look to build and develop new skills, especially selling skills
- Maintain accurate customer records per Tecan’s processes, particularly the organizations CRM system
- Implements and maintains effective time, territory, account management practices per guidelines
- Deliver agreed order entry and sales plans/budgets
- Sell to assigned customer base Consumables, Service Contracts and select Service Products
- Implement global growth strategy for Tecan’s product portfolio ensuring alignment with global strategy
- Responsible to implement European initiatives on Digital Customer engagement in assigned territory
- Manage own time effectively.
- Effectively prioritize workload between routine activities, projects, and campaigns
- Issue quotations, product information and correspondence in line with Tecan’s policies and procedures

**Profiel van de kandidaat**.**:

- Degree in Life Sciences or Medtech
- BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing or Equivalent is a plus
- Sales in European life sciences or laboratory diagnostics market
- Sales Budget responsibility
- Proven Track record
- Telesales experience
- Fluent in French and English, fluent in one other major European language is a plus
- Strong organizational skills
- Clear communication style
- Team player
