Laser communications are the next generation of secure, high-speed space communications. Dedicated to optical communications in free space, the TILBA solution improves the reliability of satellite, naval, aeronautical (aircraft, drones) and terrestrial links.

The Tilba cluster uses an optical atmospheric turbulence generation bench to test turbulence mitigation components for satellite-to-ground optical communications.

The internship project aims to improve the control, acquisition and data processing software on this bench.

You will work in the R&D team under the responsibility of one of the project leaders.

Your work will benefit the entire R&D department as well as the instrumentation division.

**Your objective will be to develop a graphical user interface in Python (Pyside2) for the control and data acquisition of the optical turbulence bench and the interfacing of new electro-optical components. You will also improve and integrate data processing tools.**

You will have the opportunity to mobilise and improve your scientific knowledge, and you will learn to work as part of a team in a company on concrete themes.

- Experience in graphical user interface development
- Experience in interfacing instruments (detection systems, acquisition card...)
- Knowledge in signal processing (statistical analysis, noise, Fourier analysis)

- Rigour, motivation and autonomy
