You will work in the technical team under the responsibility of a PhD in physics, head of R&D projects. The internship project aims at improving the numerical tools at the heart of Cailabs' light shaping technology. The internship can be focused more on a mathematical or optical theme depending on your profile.

Your work will help the whole R&D department to address optical problems in the field of space and laser machining.

**Your objective will be to develop numerical tools for the R&D team.**

You will learn to carry out a bibliographical study on the mission to be carried out, to define specifications, and to exchange on the progress of your work.

You will have the opportunity to mobilise and improve your scientific knowledge, and you will learn to work as part of a team in a company on concrete themes.

- Knowledge of optimisation algorithms
- A taste for programming

**Nice-to-have**:

- Knowledge of the Python programming language
- Knowledge of optics
