You will work in the technical team under the responsibility of a PhD in physics, head of R&D projects.
The internship project aims to improve the numerical tools at the heart of Cailabs' light shaping technology.
The internship focuses on numerical optimisation tools, which will be used by the whole R&D team, on optical problems in the field of space and laser machining.
**Your objective will be to implement new numerical optimisation strategies in an internally developed module by taking advantage of open source software developments (SciPy, multi-objective optimisation with Pymoo, machine learning with scikit-learn, etc.).**
You will also have to work on the precision and speed of convergence on examples linked to the company's R&D projects.
You will learn how to define specifications with your contacts, to carry out a bibliographical study on the mission to be carried out, and then to discuss the progress of your work during the internship.
You will have the opportunity to mobilise and improve your scientific knowledge, and you will learn to work as part of a team in a company on concrete topics.
