YOUR ROLE
The business analyst B2B shipping takes the ownership of the business system functionalities involved in the EDI exchanges (integration screens, triggering rules, data model).
It covers the functional scope of the EDI process, meaning all the functions allowing the business to trigger and integrate EDI messages.
The main business systems are based on Oracle packages, stored procedures/triggers and Oracle forms products.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Collect requirements from business and propose IT solutions.
- Translate the requirements into functional requirements specifications.
- Review and validate the functional specifications with developers
- Drive and monitor B2B enhancements, make coordination with stakeholders (internal teams and vendors)
- Participate to testing phase and assist business during user acceptance tests
- Take the lead on critical incidents and coordinate the investigations
- Monitor the performance of the system and lead action plans when it needs to be improved

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Masterize SQL queries in an Oracle environment and Oracle certification would be a plus
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into IT solution
- Knowledge of shipping domain / supply chain / logistic
- Ability to take initiatives and work in autonomy
- Understand EDIFACT and ANSI X12 structures
- Good level of English
