**Description**:
As an Editorial Assistant, you’ll be able to use your deep sports knowledge and editorial skills to write concise and informative descriptions for sporting events broadcast on our French platform

You will headline and upload content, manage rails and select images that make it appealing to the audience, making sure the final product is delivered to the highest possible standard. You’ll cover a wide range of sports from Football to Motorsports and much more.

This role will be based in Paris, France. Benefits include access to DAZN, pension contributions and a healthcare scheme.

**As our new Editorial Assistant, you’ll have the opportunity to**:

- ** Write event descriptions to accompany live games and VOD content across platforms**:

- **Select and update relevant imagery for each content tile**:

- **Headline content to ensure it captures the key selling point**:

- **Check metadata behind the tiles to ensure content is attached and able to play out correctly (expiry dates, livestreams, fixture IDs)**:

- **Working closely with editorial leadership to ensure the platform is performing at an optimal level**:

- **Maintain and create rails to give the subscriber the best product possible.**:

- **Maintain and update our schedule document to keep track of upcoming events.**

**You'll have**:

- ** Strong knowledge of and a passion for a wide range of major sports**:

- **Demonstrable experience of online sports writing**:

- **Willingness to work evenings and weekends, as well as the ability to react swiftly to developing storylines and situations**:

- **Fluency in both French and English**
