**NetScaler Partner Technology Strategist**
Citrix is seeking a NetScaler Partner Technology Strategist who has unique knowledge in Application Delivery & Security to use their skills to help customers transition into hybrid and multi-cloud environments. In this role, you are responsible for identifying and matching technology opportunities with the customers’ business issues and objectives. You will assist in developing business value propositions around Citrix Application Delivery & Security solutions. You will drive sales with your technical expertise, account management skills, sales ability, and superior customer focus.
**Primary Duties / Responsibilities**
- Be the primary Sales Engineer for the assigned vertical in support of the sales efforts for Citrix Application Delivery & Security solutions. Working in conjunction with the aligned partner to deliver this.
- Leverages Business Value and/or Consultative sales process’ toward prospective users to determine product capability assessment and validation as it applies to the technical sales process.
- Drive the sales process in partnership with the Account Manager and partner, by identifying the Technical Decision Maker, getting their technical validation, support, and sponsorship
- Ability to present and communicate at an executive level to both customers and prospects alike to articulate the value proposition and help them understand Citrix innovation and strategy.
- Gathering technical requirements from partners and aligning those to Citrix solutions, and managing both technical and competitive objections in support of the partner.
- Has the ability to build and manage complex, multi-product proof-of-concept solutions for customer evaluations as part of a sales engagement process in conjunction with the partner.
- Positively influences and willingly contributes sales opportunities beyond their own territory assignment.
- Work collaboratively with internal technical and sales resources, share best practices, and updates, and offer and seek expertise as the need arises in various opportunities.
- Ability to leverage and maximize the Citrix partner ecosystem partners as the fulfilment channel while working with Citrix end-user accounts on IT initiatives.
- Ability to absorb new technology quickly and understand its relevance in the wider market.
**Qualifications (knowledge, skills, abilities)**
- Experienced ability to motivate, educate, and train and conduct seminars to drive mind share within partners, SI and Enterprise customers and prospects to increase Citrix revenues within assigned territory
- Ability to effectively present technology and business propositions to different types of partners, internal teams and management
- Experienced ability to identify, develop, and maintain relationships with technical stakeholders at all levels of a customer organization.
- Demonstrated knowledge of value based and & technical sales techniques and processes including the ability to understand customer needs, overcome objections, assist in the development of business cases, and technically close deals.
- Ability to understand and explain many different technologies and to communicate technical concepts in non-technical terms
- Must be flexible, dependable, and capable of quickly learning new products and technologies.
- The individual should have demonstrated a broad understanding of the following areas of focus:
- NetScaler training will be given, of course field experience would help in this role.
- Experience with network infrastructure and Security technologies, data centre / cloud computing architectures, and how technology components interact at each layer of the OSI model.
- Hands on experience with different products and technologies commonly seen in Enterprise network specifically around Application Delivery Controllers, also including but not limited to routers, switches, firewall, hypervisors, Windows, Linux, Authentication options, load balancing and DNS technologies etc.
- Secure Cloud architectures such as SSE and the supporting technologies.
- Experience in one or more public or private cloud vendors and toolsets (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- Experience with container orchestration solutions (eg: OpenShift, Kubernetes), a plus
**Requirements (Education, Certification, Training, and Experience)**
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years plus prior presales experience in a high-tech environment in an indirect sales and procurement environment with a demonstrated track record of success in driving customer adoption of technology.
- Relevant Citrix Certified Professional (CCP) certification preferred along with other relevant industry certifications would be a plus.
- Good knowledge of English & French languages (both in speaking and writing)
- Experience in working with large accounts and selling at higher levels of the organization
- Ability to travel within assigned territory and other locations as required.
- Expect 50% travel
