Spacevan Product Assurance and Quality Engineer

**Job Description ‍**: Your activity will be focused on Product Assurance and Quality of our spacevan branch, where spacecrafts are currently being developed by the company or already operated in-orbit. As the branch is quickly growing, the job will be two sided. It covers both:
the day-to-day PA/QA activities such as correct follow-up and resolution of observed anomalies during the whole spacecraft lifetime (equipment incoming inspection, AIT phases, operations ) and suppliers quality follow-up,
middle terms perspective activities to structure the quality process and to ensure its setting with the correct level of complexity so quality brings betterment along with good spacevan team adhesion.

Contribution to supplier selection and supplier follow-up from PA/QA point of view

Participation to SoW review and to definition of expected deliverable lists
Supplier proposal review from PA/QA perspective
Participation to audit
Supplier follow-up for anomalies resolution and NRB holding
Supplier follow-up for quality process improvement
Review of TRB/DRB data pack from PA/QA point of view

Support to non-conformances resolution:
To ensure correct anomalies fix incl. corrective and preventive actions implementation), covering various scopes:

- In-orbit anomalies (Operations, MSC, Space segment,)
- AIT anomalies (incoming inspection, system related,)

Contribute to improve NC closure

Ensure lessons learnt and capitalization from one spacevan to another:
Elaborate and maintain retex (Design, AIT, Operation incl MSC, Suppliers,)
FMEA set-up

Ensure consistency of process between spacevan from PA/QA point of view (ensure good communication intra/inter projects for information to circulate correctly and smoothly)

Support to AIT activities from QA/PA point of view

Set-up inspection points at relevant assembly phases
Set-up procedures and as-run review with the correct level of implication to ensure smooth AIT activities
Participation to IRR/IVV from PA/QA point of view
More globally help smooth AIT activities progress
Follow ESD topic to raise awareness inside spacevan team

Participation to continuous improvement process (ECN process, internal specifications management process, Odoo features suggestions to ease NCR follow-up and communication of these to spacevan team) and collect team needs / feedback

Contribute to spacevan team adhesion to the QA/PA mindset by gathering the needs and setting the right level of PA/QA process complexity,

Ensure synergies with spaceware (propulsion) process when needed

At least 5 years of experience in industrial projects, ideally in the space sector;
Experience in working as a product assurance engineer, quality engineer or in interface with them, e.g. as a project manager, production or design engineer;
Knowledge of quality standards ISO9001/EN9100 is a plus;
Knowledge of recognized space standards (e.g. ECSS, MIL) is a plus;
High motivation for constructive and solution-oriented way of working in a team;
Very good soft and presentation skills (presentations, technical documentation, assumptions, oral presentation);
Able to work with a great autonomy;
Fluent in French and English;
You should be passionate with space and entrepreneurship and be ready to work in a very demanding, evolving and challenging environment - be ready to propose suggestions and be pro-active
You will report to the Head of Product Assurance.
