**Discover the role**
As an Associate Accountant, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting and tax needs for our clients, partnering with them to ensure that financial records are accurate and up-to-date, compliant with local laws and regulations. You will work alongside a senior member of the team who will also support your growth at TMF, reporting directly to the A&T Supervisor.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain the portfolio of the assigned clients - with different levels of autonomy depending on the files’ complexity (under supervision)
- Monitoring of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank, lettering, payroll, entries
- Preparation of tax returns autonomously
- Monthly and annual closing transactions; preparation of annual financial statements and tax packages
- Setting up monthly and quarterly reports with different levels of autonomy depending on the files’ complexity (under supervision)
**About you**
- Degree in Accounting, Audit (BTS, DCG, DSCG, Master CCA or equivalents), or a comparable level achieved through exposure and experience
- At least 3 years of experience preferably in similar companies / BPOs
- Intermediate knowledge of English (B1+)
- Proficient user of MS Office package
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for companies in France (statutory deadlines, tax laws, regulations, etc.)
- Knowledge of at least one accounting software: SAGE, CEGID Loop, Yooz or equivalent, Netsuite, or SAP is a plus, Enate Suit, ORACLE, Blackline, Workday, Yardi Voyager
- Highly responsible and organized person with good communication skills and a problem-solving attitude
- Trustworthy team member who considers those around them
