**Sales Development Representative**

Altus Group Limited provides software, and independent advisory services to the global commercial real estate industry through its two core business segments: Altus Analytics and CRE Consulting.

The Sales development representative role is responsible for fostering a client-centric sales experience for prospective customers by educating them on Altus Group’s offerings, fully understanding their business and acting as a consultant during their evaluation process.

Act as the first touchpoint with potential customers and qualify leads at the initial stage in the sales funnel. Directly impact Altus Group by properly qualifying high quality opportunities, conducting research on accounts and ensuring a proper handoff to the appropriate team. Collaborate with the Account Executive and management team to identify challenges, best practices and trends in your day-to-day operations. Embody our core values in the day-to-day operations through your internal and external interactions.

What your role will entail:

- Proactively become a Altus Group product expert by understanding our product offerings and articulating the value to our prospective clients
- Proactively develop an understanding of the CRE industry by reading various CRE publications - Bisnow, Commercial Observer, The Real Deal, etc.
- Meaningfully contribute quality, recurring revenue to Altus Group by appropriately qualifying opportunities and scheduling client demonstrations for the appropriate AE team
- Work within Salesforce and Outreach to maintain strong organization while qualifying and engaging potential clients.

Outcomes:

- Prospects are educated on the benefits of Altus Group and given the appropriate resources on our product offerings
- Directly contribute to Altus Group success by setting qualified demos for the Account Executive team
- Develop and grow as a sales professional in the SDR role by understanding the qualification process
- Meet or exceed opportunity generation quotas and demos attended targets
- Maintain a strong close rate of demos attended
- Uphold and strengthen the company’s reputation throughout communications with external customers

What you should have:

- 0-1+ years in a B2B and/or B2C SaaS sales role or internship
- Preferred experience in the CRE industry, however this is not essential
- Professional who leads by example, is team oriented and self-motivated
- Aptitude to learn and develop new skills
- Strong verbal communication and presentation skills
- Motivated: Aptitude to manage numerous requests and time demands concurrently while achieving activity goals across all channels. Understands the importance of hitting individual targets and the impact to the collective team.
- Fearless: Ability to maintain courage and resilience when faced with rejection. Consistently have the desire to strike up a conversation with new individuals on a daily basis regardless of rejection.
- Coachable: Open to asking for and receiving feedback, constantly looking inward to find areas of growth and development. Not taking feedback personally or as a criticism, instead seeing it as an opportunity to learn.
- Team Player: Strong ability to collaborate across the sales team and contribute to the success of a team’s goals.
