Engineering Manager Billing Team

How about joining a team that turns time into money? The billing team is in charge of developing Billing and Payment features for our end users, from collecting metrics to executing payments on issued invoices. You will have to ensure that values in real-time pipelines are 100% accurate.

If working with great people and contributing to products by designing architectures and coding drive you, this is the right job for you As an Engineering Manager, you will manage both your team of engineers, and the general engineering for the team. This position is equally balanced between managerial and technical roles and skills.

**Minimum qualifications**:

- Responsibilities and accountability enthusiast
- Able to lead projects
- Pragmatic
- Meticulous in terms of investigation and implementationOrganized
- Solid development skills: Git, Linux and, ideally, Python
- Able to see the big picture of software and performance
- Good command of English (the team is multicultural) and French (most of the company speak French)

**Preferred qualifications**:

- Experience in management. You know how to take charge but can also give space to the team so that they can also develop their leadership and expertise skills
- Interested in working on sensitive projects
- Mastery of Python
- Knowledge of distributed system and architecture

**Responsibilities**:

- Improve our billing and payment features on a daily basis
- Help your team work autonomously and collaboratively to deliver solutions in live production systems which are handling millions of events coming from all over the world
- Make sure that the team is efficient, resilient, and improves everyday by providing your team members with a safe work environment
- Help the Product Manager have visibility on projects
- Help building the right products, with high standards of quality in code
- Provide solutions and communicate with other teams
- Organization of some agile rituals such as sprint planning

**Location**
- This position can be either:

- Based in our offices in Paris or Lille (France) with partial remote
- Full remote, with indays once a month where the team meet in person.

**Salary Range**
- Professional level
- 56,000 - 77,000+ EUR per year

Senior Level
- 70,000 - 96,000+ EUR per year
