**Job Description Summary**:
- Temporary replacement for HR Leader covering France and South Europe-
- In this role, you will be responsible for providing HR support to the GE Digital teams in France and co(ordingating activities for the region. That will include supporting Leaders, Managers and Employees on organizational and employee matters, as well as coaching, HR process expertise and other general HR activities. You will lead HR activities for your main country location (France) working with the local France HR team already in place and will co-ordinate HR activities across five other countries in your sub-region (Italy, Spain, Greece, Portugal, Israel) in partnership with the HR managers supporting GE Digital in those countries - focusing on Talent Development, Employee Engagement and one GED employee experience and Culture. Your role will go beyond ensuring the execution of HR activities to include partnering with global and regional HR leaders / business leaders to develop HR strategy aligned with business objectives and leading the rollout and execution of initiatives in your sub-region. Deep domain knowledge in HR and a good understanding of industry trends will enable you to contribute actively to problem solving and decision making in the GE Digital business. The role will be based in Massy in France.-
**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Partnership with local HR teams and leaders to develop and execute HR strategies in areas such as structure, culture and talent aligned with business objectives.
- Co-ordination and execution of HR activities for the sub-region in partnership with the local HR managers supporting GE Digital.
- Influencing/ coaching/ guiding leaders including our 3 leadership behaviors to drive a culture of performance and belonging (measured by Engagement score data, PPG adoption, female representation, attrition etc..)
- Direct leadership of the France HR team and co-ordination of France HR activities including labor relations and providing leadership, coaching and support for individual employees, people leaders and HR processes.
- Driving HR activities with a lean mindset & skills to continually seek ways to improve and innovate with your team.
- Providing timely, effective and direct coaching to client group people leaders, assisting in the development of strong, contemporary leadership skills.
- Partner with the global HR team and people leaders to ensure high quality people reviews, talent and performance management and salary planning.
- Work to attract, develop, engage and retain strong and diverse talent both in your direct HR team and across the organization.
- Partner with People Operations to ensure smooth and effective management of people throughout the employee lifecycle.

**Required Qualifications**
- This role requires in the region of 8 years’ experience in Human Resources in France.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited university or college in a related area (or high school diploma with relevant work experience)
- Strategic and tactical mindset with strong business acumen
- Ability to create/ shape an HR agenda that delivers to business needs
- Ability to work in changing environments
- Confidence to voice opinions and willingness to deliver constructive feedback when necessary
- Strong influencing skills - using data to support your thinking
- Ability to energize and lead teams.
- Specialized depth of expertise in your local country labor legislation.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to communicate clearly and concisely (oral and written communication)
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Established project management skills - capable of leading complex initiatives, building and executing plans in an organized manner.
- Fluency in both English and French
