**Job summary**

As an Aviation Sustainability Expert, you will be part of a team, seconded to Riyadh responsible for developing and implementing sustainable initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of the aviation sector in Saudi Arabia.

The working language of this post is English.
Ability to converse in Arabic would be an advantage but not essential.

The initial duration of the secondment to Riyadh would be 6 months.
The post will be based from our Paris office and a subsistence package will be provided in addition to salary during the secondment period.

**Duties**
- Assess current aviation sustainability practices
- Design strategies to reduce and mitigate impacts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainable practices into capital projects and operations
- Monitor and report on progress towards sustainability goals
- Identify and recommend adoption of new environmentally friendly technologies
- Implement Environmental Management system (ISO 14001)

**Qualifications**
- University degree in environmental sciences, engineering or related field
- Previous experience in sustainability, preferably in the aviation sector
- In-depth knowledge of aviation-related environmental regulations
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate environmental data and measure performance
- Ability to communicate effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders

La capacité à converser en arabe serait un avantage mais n'est pas indispensable.

La durée initiale du détachement à Riyad est de 6 mois.
Le poste sera basé dans notre bureau de Paris et un forfait de subsistance sera fourni en plus du salaire pendant la période de détachement.

**Fonctions**
- Évaluer les pratiques actuelles en matière de développement durable dans le secteur de l'aviation
- Concevoir des stratégies pour réduire et atténuer les impacts.
- Collaborer avec des équipes interfonctionnelles pour intégrer des pratiques durables dans les projets d'investissement et les opérations.
- Contrôler et rendre compte des progrès accomplis dans la réalisation des objectifs de développement durable.
- Identifier et recommander l'adoption de nouvelles technologies respectueuses de l'environnement
- Mettre en œuvre le système de gestion de l'environnement (ISO 14001).

**Qualifications requises**
- Diplôme universitaire en sciences de l'environnement, en ingénierie ou dans un domaine connexe.
- Expérience préalable dans le domaine du développement durable, de préférence dans le secteur de l'aviation
- Connaissance approfondie des réglementations environnementales liées à l'aviation
- Solides compétences analytiques pour évaluer les données environnementales et mesurer les performances
- Capacité à communiquer efficacement avec un large éventail de parties prenantes internes et externes.

Pay: 35,000.00€ - 55,000.00€ per year
