The Global Customer Service department is looking for an Application Specialist to train, coach and provide effective support to bioMérieux subsidiaries and distributors.
Your role will also be to represent the “technical” voice of our customers in the development of our products in order to optimize the commercial success and profitability of our solutions on the market. Within the Expert Unit, you will be in charge of our ID/AST solutions such as VITEK® MS, VITEK® MS PRIME, VITEK® 2.
**What will be your missions at bioMérieux?**
Provide second-level emergency support to subsidiaries and distributors for complaints, questions or suggestions.
Provide field support, contribute to action plans.
Facilitate learning plans including training and coaching for subsidiaries and distributors in order to carry out Service actions for customers.
Evaluate the quality of training programs and the level of trainees.
Contribute to the creation, development and validation of support tools for subsidiaries and distributors to optimize local services (installation procedures, troubleshooting guides, FAQ, etc.)
Carry out Customer Service actions as part of projects such as rereading User Manuals, etc.
Provide feedback on product/service improvements to GCS Project Management Office.
Create and update training modules in accordance with GCS procedures.
Create distance learning content as well as adapted learning plans for subsidiaries if necessary.
Organize and lead off-site training courses.
Participate and contribute to strategic projects with key players (R&D, SE&S, Quality, etc.).
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our products/services, training materials and service tools,
**Who are you ?**
Bachelor degree minimum in biology, you ideally demonstrate good knowledge of the VITEK MS product and have had the opportunity to develop it during an experience as a Field Application Specialist.
You have a good understanding of the laboratory environment and knowledge of bioMérieux microbiology products.
Knowledge of mass spectrometry and having practiced it in MALDI-TOF MS.
A good level of English is mandatory in order to be able to communicate with our subsidiaries (knowledge of Spanish is a plus as well as international experience)
Be customer and service oriented with a sense of urgency.
Have a strong aspiration or experience as a trainer/coach.
Present a capacity for continuous learning in the context of product developments.
Be able to create and proofread technical information (user manuals, specifications, etc.).
Create face-to-face or remote training.
Know how to evolve in a team while demonstrating autonomy.
Ability to analyze, recommend and discuss proposals in order to find the most effective solutions.
Ability to understand and work with complex processes while maintaining an innovative spirit and measuring customer impact.
Have a system view (instrument/software/reagents)
Network and IT knowledge are a plus (MAESTRIA, MYLA)
**These missions may require up to 20% travel to our subsidiaries.
