**Role Overview**

**We are looking for**:

- A research engineer with PhD in materials science. The core of the chemical expertise will focus on the design/synthesis of new inorganic materials and their characterization.
- This position is located at the research and innovation center of the Paris area (Aubervilliers) and is open in the Advanced Inorganic Materials Laboratory department.

**We count on you for**:

- Under the responsibility of the Business line R&I global manager to take the responsibility of the laboratory in Aubervilliers:

- The development of new synthesis processes
- The characterization of inorganic and hybrid products
- Development of applicability tests
- Patent and technological survey in your domain. Analysis of the competition. Freedom to operate and novelty studies. Proposition of new patents.
- Communication on projects achievement and results
- Management and development of lab technicians, interns and/or apprentices.
- Project management and coordination of the work of different stakeholders and interfaces (business, industrial, IP )
- Proposition of new research topics, construction of new projects and elaboration of new research programs
- Proposition and management of internal and external collaborations

**You will bring**:

- PhD in chemistry (inorganic, materials or mineral chemistry). Deep knowledge and experience in inorganic materials physico-chemistry. Good experience in the elaboration of new materials (synthesis, design and shaping) at different scales from nano to micro scale. Inorganic and hybrid materials characterization (XRD, Microscopy, thermal analysis, spectroscopic analysis etc ).
