**What will you be doing**

The position is dedicated to the Special Applications (SA) perimeter of Wärtsilä. This entity is dedicated to the complete services of the equipment which can go up to the reconditioning of the emergency engines for certain nuclear power plants in the world and that of the engine of the Leclerc tank for the French army.

**As Special Applications Field Services Technician, your work will focus on these responsibilities**:

- perform the preventive maintenance and repair operations on Wärtsilä emergency diesel engines installed in nuclear
- power plants, under the supervision of an engineer,
one.
- participate in the identification of breakdowns,
- participate to the engines running test under the supervision of an engineer,
- fill in the quality documentation,
- participate to the promotion of Wärtsilä brand.

The missions are carried out while respecting the applicable rules as regards Quality, Safety and Environment, in accordance with the commitment of Wärtsilä.

**To be successful in this role, we expect you to have**:

- Bac +2/ Degrees + 2 years,
- Bac, Bac pro/ High school diploma degree,
- CAP, BEP/ Vocational certificate obtained 2 years after the 8th & 9th grade,
- Gained experience in diesel engines (ideally on Wärtsilä products) and in field services (between 3 and 5 years),
- English skills (A1-A2).

**And ideally**:

- 3 to 5 years in the technical industrial sector.
- Knowledge of engine mechanics (knowledge of Wärtsilä engines would be a plus).
- Basic knowledge on nuclear power plant environment.
- Spanish skills (A1-A2).
- Office software skills.

Nous recherchons aujourd'hui un Technicien H/F pour rejoindre nos Field Services qui œuvrent pour un avenir plus durable à travers les activités de Wärtsilä Special Applications. Cette entité est dédiée aux services complets de l'équipement qui peuvent aller jusqu'au reconditionnement des moteurs de secours des centrales nucléaires dans le monde et du moteur du char Leclerc pour l'armée française. Le lieu de travail privilégié pour le poste est Surgères (Charente Maritime), en France. Depuis Surgères, vous serez déployé avec votre équipe principalement en Europe de l'Ouest (France, Espagne, Belgique, Suède...).

Le poste est dédié au périmètre Applications Spéciales (SA) de Wärtsilä. Cette entité est dédiée aux services complets de l'équipement pouvant aller jusqu'au reconditionnement des moteurs de secours de certaines centrales nucléaires dans le monde et celui du moteur du char Leclerc pour l'armée française.

**En tant que Technicien Field Services Applications Spéciales, votre travail se concentrera sur ces responsabilités**:

- effectuer les opérations de maintenance préventive et de réparation des moteurs diesel de secours Wärtsilä installés
- dans les centrales nucléaires, sous la supervision d'un ingénieur,
- participer à l'identification des pannes,
- participer aux essais de fonctionnement des moteurs sous la supervision d'un ingénieur,
- remplir la documentation sur la qualité,
- participer à la promotion de la marque Wärtsilä.

Les missions sont réalisées dans le respect des règles applicables en matière de Qualité, Sécurité et Environnement, conformément à l'engagement de Wärtsilä.

**Pour réussir dans cette fonction, nous attendons de vous que vous ayez**:

- Bac +2/ Diplômes + 2 ans,
- Bac, Bac pro/ Diplôme de fin d'études secondaires,
- CAP, BEP/ Brevet d'études professionnelles obtenu 2 ans après la classe de 4ème et de 3ème,
- Expérience acquise dans le domaine des moteurs diesel (idéalement sur les produits Wärtsilä) et des services sur le
- terrain (entre 3 et 5 ans),
- Connaissance de l'anglais (A1-A2).
