In order to strengthen our BU BNFL People Team (gathering France, Belgium, Netherlands & Luxembourg), we are looking for a dynamic and motivated People Officer that can help us with people administrative processes and support in rolling out our employee contact model in France.
You would be first point of contact for answering general people questions coming from our employees and would be the responsible for the administrative support in people related affairs for BU BNFL. In addition, you’ll be responsible for optimizing the people processes and assist in executing people related projects.
The role:
A. Support & Collaboration:
- Support Business Partners in master data management: make sure that process flows are followed, and all necessary systems are kept up-to-date, make sure that evidence of compliance with our processes is readily available for audits.
- Close collaboration with Business Partners for execution of the People Cycle (internal mobility, annual appraisal )
- Close collaboration with People Officer team in delivery of projects based on continuous improvement of our people processes
- Responsible for resolving employee relation issues and assist in sensitive and complex files
- Lead additional projects linked to the Country People Agenda which can cover trainings, events, communication etc. depending on the business needs
- Legal watch: monitoring legislation in social matters and assessing the impact on our working environment. Benchmark of HR best practices
- Contribute to internal communication and the organization of internal events
B. Recruitment and Talent management:
- Support in process and ensuring that the local standards, measurement and policies are followed to guarantee the attraction, selection, and successful recruitment of potential talents that will further drive the achievement of staffing goals as well as the business’s overall objectives
- Hiring and People Continuity administration:
- Support the people business partner in the administrative hiring of the employees (contracts, medical visits )
- Administrative support for the people business partner to execute processes related to people continuity
- Follow up on the induction process of newcomers
C. Analytics:
- Support of People team in analyzing data and reports on KPIS and metrics related to People Topics and People Contact Model
- Based on analytics suggest improvements on our contact model and processes within people team
- Participate in preparing unions meetings (datas collection and analysis), follow up in tasks in the timeline
Who we’re looking for:
- Min. 1-2 years experience as Junior People officer/ client service role of HR function (Administrative support).
- Good knowledge of French Labor law, proof of Project Management experience,
- Experience in working in a multi-national environment is a plus.
- Energetic, fair and honest team player.
- Fluent written & spoken English and French; other languages are an asset
- Strong knowledge of MS Office
- General knowledge of good HR practices/processes
- High level of curiosity and willingness to learn
- Result driven
- Organized, eye for detail and drive to work accurate and with precision
- Willingness to simplify operations and solution-minded
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills, good relationship building
