**Your New Role...**

We’re looking for a Paris based, Regulatory Affairs Manager, EMEA, to participate in regulatory discussions and negotiations, supporting and advising the business on regulatory policy developments in our industry for France and French related EU Affairs. You will also be key in developing an advocacy strategy for the company, in order to mitigate risk. You will be an advocate for changes to benefit the business and raise awareness on key initiatives to secure the company’s positions and its external endorsement. This role will report both into the Head of Legal and Business Affairs for France and into the Head of Global Government Relations and Public Policy for EMEA and will work closely with the General Manager for France and their leadership team.

**Your Role Accountabilities...**
- Monitor and identify political regulatory policy developments, specifically issues related to audiovisual production and distribution, including the regulatory framework concerning French media & copyright laws.
- Participate in developing positions and strategies on professional agreements with producers, regulators and governing bodies and other stakeholders (by way of example, AVMSD, release window negotiations, cab-sat & TNT decrees, network fees).
- Deliver verbal and written briefings on complex topics to support the collaboration with business leaders to help shape the business’ position and responses.
- Develop and engage in relationships with external stakeholders to shape public policy and dialogue on industry and business priorities, including identifying and building relationships with regulators, peer businesses, business councils, trade & industry bodies (e.g., MPA, ARCOM, CNC). Build greater awareness of business as strong local French and European investor and build own relationships and relationships for business leads with Foreign Affairs, Economics and Culture Ministries, US embassies and other influential politicians and government leaders. Engage with wider influential audiences including third parties and influencers (e.g., trade associations, think tanks and academics) to support positioning and advocacy strategy as required.
- Develop strategies in conjunction with the French General Manager, Head of Legal and Head of Global Government Relations and Public Policy for EMEA, with engagement from policymakers, regulators and other key stakeholders within Global Government Relations and Public Policy teams in EMEA, NORAM, LATAM and APAC

**Qualifications & Experience...**
- Proven experience in media, entertainment and sports, legal, regulatory affairs, consulting strategy, policy or a related role
- Working knowledge of media entertainment (and sports regulation), public policy context is required
- Familiarity with recent EU and French trends related to the AV sector, content creation, media, entertainment and sport, tax, IP, content protection, privacy, visa issues is preferred
- Knowledge of the French and EU legislative process is preferred
- Ability to seamlessly work across regions and diverse cultures undertaking travel as needed
- Fluency in French and English languages
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement experience, with ability to influence and tailor communication style to a wide range of audiences
